PART 1: PRE-SALES QUESTIONS

How do I place an order?
To order an account simply click on the PayPal button for the account you wish to order.

Are there any restrictions to the content I can put on my server?
Yes - child pornography and other materials that are illegal are not allowed. Click here to read our Acceptable Use Policy.

How can we offer such a good deal?
First of all, we are a true wholesale hosting provider. Most hosting sellers on the web are not. Second, most of our customers run small businesses or personal websites, which don't use much disk space or bandwidth on our servers. As a result, even our most demanding business clients are able to save money by signing up for the same package as everyone else. Third, we don't spend a lot of money running a fancy website, or on advertising. We rely primarily on word-of-mouth advertising, which doesn't cost us anything (we just have to offer a product that people want to tell their friends about).

Do I have access to update my site 24 hours a day?
Absolutely. Whether you're a day person or a night owl, your site is available 24/7 for you to update.

How soon will my account be set up and ready for use?
Account orders are placed in a queue and are processed in the order in which they are received. As soon as your account is set up you can immediately begin uploading via your IP address. It may take up to a few days for your domain name to resolve to our servers.

PART 2
DOMAIN NAME QUESTIONS:

How long does it take to register a domain name?
It only takes a few hours, but it may be 24 to 48 hours before the domain can actually be accessed from the web.

Where can I register a Domain Name?
You can register a domain with us for as low as $8.75 per year. If you need to register a domain, please click here.

What if I already have a registered Domain name?
You have to change the DNS so that your site can be activated on our servers. It usually takes 24 - 48 hours for your site to resolve to our servers. Just contact the registrar or hosting company that you registered with and ask them to change your name servers to the name servers specified in your welcome email. You can sign up for your hosting account with us either before or after you do this.

PART 3: TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

How do I upload my site online?
Uploading your site can be done in many ways, but the most popular is FTP.

When your hosting account was created, you should have been provided with an FTP account. Using software such as CuteFTP or WS_FTP, you can log into your host. Then, using the program like a normal windows program, you can drag and drop files onto your web host. These files become live online instantaneously.

What happens after I order an account?
We will begin setting up your account - often within minutes of receiving your order. Once your account is ready and payment is processed, we will contact you via the email address from your Paypal account.

Can I use CGI scripts?
Yes, you will have your own CGI-BIN where you can install your own scripts. All CGI scripts should be uploaded to the cgi-bin folder, for your domain. Be sure to follow the instructions for the script you are uploading regarding setting permissions on the files and folders you create, as they vary from script to script.

Is my site backed up and how often?
It is the clients responsibility to do all backups of their site. If, in the unfortunate event, something happens to your files, it is your responsibility to have a local copy of your files. We are NOT held liable in any way for any files, money, time, effort, etc... lost due to this unfortunate event. Furthermore, if your files are lost, we will attempt to restore them as a gesture of good faith, but make no promises what so ever about whether the files will be brought back successfully or not. Again, back ups are the client's responsibility.

How do I get my email?
If you're familiar with your email client's setup, use the following information to retrieve email from your POP account.

Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com
Webmail: http://yourdomain.com/webmail
